Battle are a UK indie rock band, who formed over a decade ago. They came to some prominence with a sound consisting largely of post-punk, spatious guitar hooks and dance-orientated beats, and have been compared to The Cure, and New Order/Joy Division. In 2005, Battle embarked upon a series of small tours, releasing the singles, 'Isabelle/ Feel The Same' and 'Demons/ Damascus', both of which sold out within days. Support slots with the likes of Bloc Party, The Rakes and British Sea Power followed, with air play on Radio One and Xfm. Shortly after the release of Tendency, Battle signed a recording deal with Warner Bros. Records and publishing contract with EMI, and are expecting their debut album to be released at the end of the year.

That first board is absolutely stunning! Definitely one of my favourites as well. You should use that as your 'representative' image for the Brighter Journal or light box.

Thanks girls, really really enjoyed this project, and when I started with this in the morning, I had no idea what I was going to do, but it was one of those ideas that snowballed into many!
