Day 55, project 55 (d55: p55)




THE CLIENT:

Noah Harris- Precursor Studio


THE BRIEF:

Melissa's one day arts triathlon
01 - morning ­ research -
Learn as much as you can about Lenin. You're not allowed to use a computer
Wikipedia doesn't count. Preferably a library.

02 ­ afternoon ­ grand master -
Create a portrait of Lenin based around what you have learnt using any media and materials that come to hand.. Bear in mind that the way you choose to depict Lenin must bear relation to your research. The viewer should be able to take some information away from the image.

03 ­ evening ­critic -
Write an honest and constructive critique of your own work.

Piece will then be put onto ebay and auctioned as a modern piece of artwork.

Your illustration looks really really really cool dude!
Im loving the grid technique, you should do a bit more of that in future.
I also like your layout on the red presentation board, that would have taken me ages to do.

Believe me, in general this project took AGES! the grid alone was about 2 hours! But I had a brilliant day and I'm pleased with the outcome and more importantly, the Client liked it.

Normal that the client liked it!! looks great! You should use that technique more often! Looks really good!
